Interesting Programmes From RTM For Coming Celebrations
KUALA LUMPUR, July 27 (Bernama) -- This year, Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) continues its tradition of serving a wide variety of interesting and meaningful programmes to its viewers for National Day, Ramadan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.
Broadcasting director-general Datuk Norhyati Mohd Ismail said RTM aired over 150 shows and special performances which showcased the three themes through TV1, TV2 dan TVi.
"From mid-July until September, our viewers will enjoy an array of programmes celebrating the three occassions," she said at a news conference, in conjunction with a prize presentation ceremony for winners of the National Geographic (Natgeo) Quiz and Mega Blockbuster Quiz here.
Commenting further, Norhyati said the programmes shown by RTM contained, among others, the meaning of freedom, awareness, harmony and victory.
Meanwhile, 25-year-old Universiti Teknologi Mara student Fathin Ismah Roshidie took home a Perodua MyVi car as winner of the Mega Blockbuster Quiz. Natgeo Quiz winner Jennyfer Patrick received a motorcycle.
