Former Stage Manager Sues Singer Hafiz AF
KUALA LUMPUR, July 31 (Bernama) -- Singer Hafiz AF was Tuesday sued by a former stage manager of an entertainment programme on Astro for allegedly causing her injury.
Nur Haniza Mohd Azhar, 25, sought more than RM200,000 in damages from Hafiz, whose actual name is Mohd Hafiz Mohd Suip, 22, and the winner of the 7th Akademi Fantasia.
She filed the suit at the Sessions Court registrar here, through Messrs Boestamam Ahmad & Co.
In her statement of claim, Nur Haniza alleged that Mohd Hafiz had insisted on seeing her about some matter while she was busy at work as a stage manager on the Salih Yaacob Show at the Filem Negara Studio at 3.15 pm on May 17 last year.
Nur Haniza claimed that when she had refused to do so politely, Mohd Hafiz had turned aggressive and pushed her down a staircase.
