KPKK Tubuh Teater Mini Tampung Pertumbuhan Seni Pentas
KUALA LUMPUR, 13 Ogos (Bernama) -- Teater mini akan dibina di seluruh negara bagi menampung pertumbuhan minat dan permintaan dalam seni pentas, terutama dalam kalangan generasi muda.
Ketua Pengarah Jabatan Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Datuk Norliza Rofli berkata projek perintis akan dilaksana di ibu kota dan venuenya akan dikenal pasti sebelum akhir tahun ini.
"Ini merupakan satu daripada 10 inisiatif yang akan dilaksana kementerian sebelum akhir tahun, semuanya dikendali oleh pemain industri. Menteri akan membuat pengumuman semua inisiatif ini apabila tiba masanya," katanya kepada pemberita selepas melancarkan program 'Pertukaran Kesenian Kakiseni 2012', di sini.
Norliza yang juga pengerusi makmal seni pentas kementerian, berkata kementerian sedang berusaha mempertingkat pembangunan kandungan tempatan dengan memperluas kelompok mereka yang berbakat menerusi latihan dan pendedahan.
Beliau berkata industri itu antara enam sektor yang diwujudkan dalam Makmal Industri Kreatif dan dikenal pasti sebagai antara inisiatif di bawah bidang utama ekonomi.
