Ajay, Kajol To Do Film On Female Foeticide
MUMBAI, June 18 (Bernama) - Bollywood star couple Ajay Devgan and Kajol will be seen together in a short film on female foeticide which is being made as part of the Maharashtra government's initiative to curb the practice.
The actor couple, who have a nine-year-old daughter, are involved in the state government's campaign against female foeticide and are making a film on the topic, Press Trust of India reported.
"We are working on the script at the moment and should be ready to roll it out within a month or so. Both Kajol and I will be part of this and we will be speaking about female foeticide," Ajay said in a statement.
Recently, actor Aamir Khan raised the topic of female foeticide in the first episode of his TV show called 'Satyamev Jayate'.
Cases of female foeticide lately came to light in Beed, Solapur and Latur districts of Maharashtra in West India. --
