Bangkok-based Band To Serenade Jazz Music Fans At WAG Fest
KUCHING, July 20 (Bernama) -- Bangkok-based Natasha and the Mellow Motif band, known for their upbeat jazzy tempo, will be among the artistes performing at the World Animal Groove (WAG) Music Festival, here in October.
Led by singer and artistic director Natasha Patamapongs, the band is a familiar name in the Malaysian music scene after having performed at various jazz clubs and music festivals in the country besides at music festivals in Singapore, Indonesia and China.
"With two albums to their name, Natasha and the Mellow Motif band are expected to get WAG Music Festival goers dancing to their vibrant beat," said a statement from UCSI Communications Sdn Bhd (UComms), which manages the one-event on Oct 6.
Jazz music fans will also be treated to performances by other artistes, including Inka Marka from South America, Victor Valdes Quartet (Australia), Akedemi Fantasia season 7 winner Hafiz, comedian Bibi Kaypoh and DJ Progen (all from Malaysia).
